Contribution competition

Contribution competition

We want to celebrate the first contributions to the Fiberplane ecosystem. That’s why we created a small competition. In fact there are three. So get your IDE ready. To submit your code contribution to one of the challenges, use this form.

*Disclaimer: As long as you see the competition mentioned here it is still there for you to be completed.

Leverage Fiberplane’s CLI or REST API and tell us your integration story

Prize to win: 50 Euro donation to an open-source project of your choice + a Fiberplane T-shirt

We would like to hear how you use our API to integrate in your stack. Are you using the Fiberplane CLI to build a trigger similar to our PagerDuty integration? Or do you leverage our REST API to interact with Fiberplane studio

Tell and show us. Create a repo with a README that explains how to set up the integration and how to use it, and submit the link to it via this form

First built community provider

Prize to win: Starter kit Raspberry Pi 4B

Besides the biggest prize, you will be forever and ever in Fiberplane’s hearts. We might hang a picture of your GitHub profile in our office. No, seriously, we know building your own provider takes some effort and as for now some Rust knowledge. Take our sample provider and build up on it.

Some inspiration could be to consider a provider to query logs from a Database like OpenSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, InfluxDB, … Fixing broken examples.

Maybe you find an angle with Jaeger, Zipkin, … or surprise us with something completely different 🙂.

Put your code into a repo and submit the link via our form

The first accepted PR on Fiberplane’s docs

Prize to win: A Fiberplane T-shirt
